This is a very bad move on the part of Israel — a revengeful move that makes no sense. Israeli Zionists, in 1947, celebrated when the U.N., the same General Assembly, awarded the Jewish state [their privileges]. And they should not be punishing Palestinians for wanting, 65 years later, for their part of Palestine — at a much smaller percentage that what was awarded by the U.N. I think it’s unfortunate and it shows that the 44 times that the Israeli representatives used the word ‘peace’ mean nothing. The peace in Israel is “p.i.e.c.e.” — piece of land — not p.e.a.c.e.
